One capsule three times a day.

 

Do's And Don'ts:

Do's

Practice morning walk for at least one hour every day.

Prefer bland diet.

Regularity in dietary habits and eating of leafy vegetables and fruits is advised.

Consumption of cow’s milk, cow’s ghee is useful.

Dont's

Avoid fried things, pulses and their preparation.

Avoid groundnut oil, buffalo ghee and buffalo milk.

Avoid alcoholic drinks and consumption of excessive tea and coffee.

Avoid physical and mental stress, keeping awake for a longer time in the night.

Avoid constipating food recipes.

 

Therapeutic Rationale:

Arjunin is a comprehensive cardioprotective. Arjunin has antianginal, hypolipidemic and antioxidant action. In double blind placebo controlled trial, the main ingredient of Arjunin i.e. Terminalia Arjuna exhibited antianginal effects similar to that of isosorbide mononitrate. Boerhaavia diffusa is antihyperlipidemic, Nardostachys jatamansi is antilipid peroxidative, Vitis vinifera is cardioprotective and Mangifera indica is antioxidant. Arjunin exhibits cardioprotective activity by virtue of its hypolipidemic, diuretic, anxiolytic and antioxidant properties.
